Overview

Our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is designed for customers in the European Union and European Economic Area who need to ensure GDPR compliance when using our sensor calibration services. The DPA includes:

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international data transfers
• Detailed security measures and controls (Annex II)
• Data processing details and retention policies
• Subprocessor information and consent mechanisms

Key Features

Standard Contractual Clauses

Our DPA incorporates the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 2: Controller to Processor) as adopted by Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914, providing adequate safeguards for international transfers.

Technical and Organizational Measures

The DPA includes detailed Annex II security controls covering:

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AWS S3 SSE-S3)
• Access controls and IAM-based restrictions
• Network security with VPC isolation
• Comprehensive logging and monitoring
• Employee training and confidentiality measures

Data Processing Details

The DPA clearly defines:

• Purpose: Sensor calibration services and technical support
• Data categories: Technical sensor data and contact information
• Retention period: 90 days (configurable)
• Subprocessors: Amazon Web Services (AWS)
